She didn't even run on a platform. All her ads were "well at least I'm not Trump". I am aware her website had her platform, but you gotta tell people what it is. Especially when you are so distrusted. Trump was running ads that said "WE GONNA BUILD A WALL" and "WE GONNA BRING JOBS BACK FROM MEXICO AND CHINA". Stupid and fallacious, but appealing to people more than *nothing* is. Her whole coronation was sickening. Bernie would have won. Hell, if Hillary picked Bernie for her VP she would have won. All the enthusiasm from Bernouts would have transferred to her campaign. These are people who phonebanked several entire states in hours. But no, she picked another Big Bank motherfucker to run with her as an extra 'gently caress you' to Bernie fans.

Most Republicans do not see value in taxpayer investment, nor do they believe governments should be offering services that compete with corporations. Basically I don't get why you consider yourself a Republican, or do you believe socialism only gets it right with fast internet speeds?

I just think it's hilarious Hillary ran without a vision. She was so out of touch by living in her protective bubble for 30 years that she had literally no clue why voters were so upset and angry with the status quo. Everything looked fine from her ivory tower. There was no impetus for her to run other than her ego.

Bernie wants an end to identpol and for politicians to embrace economic progressivism. if a white, male, pro-life, pro-gun, Christian is an economic progressive who supports single payer, Bernie would welcome him to the party and even endorse him. This same person would be absolutely detested by the establishment/corporatist wing of the party, which is why they are losing elections and can't even compete with Trump who also uses the empowering workers rhetoric even though he is lovely and will probably do nothing for them. Trump has a chance of being a really popular two term President if he doesn't betray workers. But the GOP, his cabinet and the house are so insane and anti-worker that even if Trump decided he genuinely wants to help workers, he will be prevented from doing so. Far more likely is the US continues to degenerate into a poo poo hole while the oligarchy reaps 99.9% of the rewards and wealth

How the hell did Obama win by such a big margin in 2012? Was it just plain competency at getting out the vote? I feel like he should have faced the same struggles Hillary did, considering the economic reality at the time and disillusionment with him from the far left, but he didn't have any trouble at all.
