When you say "lobby games," his recorded non-League matches are always in the 2-player queue so at least he has a stake, even if it's $2/20PP. That's why the videos for Much Abrew or whatever always end in the window with 30 or 5 PPs showing. He's not just in the Tournament Practice room, and I also think he does it to make it easier to cut duplicate match-ups out so you don't just get Leagues where he faces 2 Dredge 2 Burn and Affinity.

I wish I could get to a shop in 5 minutes or less, I live in NoVA and there's a lot of good shops but somehow I ended up where I can't get to an FNM in less than 25 minutes on a Friday night. And after a full week of work, I've gotten tired of doing that.

I have put WU Approach into sleeves and I am going to play in GP DC (and some Standard events tomorrow) with it. I have played in 3 sanctioned Magic events so far in 2017, along with a good amount of Duels back in the first few months of the year. While I am familiar enough with the meta because I watch Saffron Olive, I hope I can mostly coast by on the fact that I play Hearthstone every day to make up for the fact that I haven't been able to reliably get out to FNM in a year and a half. I should note that the Dulles Expo Center is closer to my house than any local game shop that I could go to for FNM. Good luck to the other goons this weekend! EDIT: The last time I played organized Standard was 12/27/2015, and so far in the 3 events I've played in 2017 (none since April) my record is 1-1-6. I guess I should have expected it considering it was the Ixalan survey and not something else but I realized I got to the end and they never gave me a box to say what I actually wanted to say: that FNM should be on Saturday or Sunday afternoon (and a shop needs to open closer to my house)
