Giving Miami Connection Live a shot.

Headed to Nashville tomorrow. Maybe I can catch the encore at the Belacourt.

E: they don't show the films there.

I want to watch The Room, but what they have is the Live Just the Jokes.

https://www.rifftrax.com/the-room-rifftrax-live-edition

How does that work, since I can't get a video of the Live version? Is there anywhere to stream it online? Amazon just had the DVD.

Is there a way to suggest shorts for riffing? This short on Pressure Cookers should be especially riffable.

There's a busy housewife, a rush to plate a loaf of sliced bread, regular meals of meat as big as a human head, a daughter gets an advance on her allowance to buy a pressure cooker, a mother who couldn't imagine cooking more than one type of vegetable at a time, love that's conditional on cooking well, teenagers with wedding rings, a grown man having trouble eating spaghetti, and vague warnings to not deviate too much from the cooking process.

Loved Octaman! My wife and I were hoping to have the theater to ourselves, but our theater was packed. We were on the back row and there was 1 empty seat on that row. The only rows that were empty were the first 2.

I don’t really want to make fun of things people can’t control, but we had a cackler in the audience who made paying attention tough.

This was a Regal cinema. They even had an Octaman poster in the lobby.

They’re a good theater. A couple of years ago for Whizzo, the satellite signal got messed up and they couldn’t get the show. They offered to refund our money, let us sit in for a replay of Carnival of Souls and gave us passes to a future movie (not just RiffTrax).

Krull was intensely my jam as a movie and the only time Ive ever written to (and got a response from) the Rifftrax crew because the company I worked for at the time got mentioned in the jokes and loved it.

They didn’t reply to me. We attended live and I asked if I could get a copy of the credits, so I could see my family on the street. I know they can’t release the movie, but I thought I could get the show credits.
