Well I found some response time settings on my monitor... setting it to Ultra Fast does actually noticeably clear up ghosting in Elite: Dangerous. but what am I sacrificing by using it?

cinci zoo sniper posted:looks like the usual, so highest responsiveness settings may induce overshoot (aka inverse ghosting) yeah I think that's what I'm seeing when scrolling certain webpages now

I have an older mono price tablet. it's ok I guess, don't really have anything to compare to. you do not want to use the stylus it comes with.

yeah huion is the only display tablet I've heard good things about. artists w/ cintiqs are either meh on them or hate them

Bloody posted:is this newfangled hdr the same hdr that looks like this: what you have posted is an example of high dynamic range imaging, which is actually more of an image processing technique. the method is to take multiple photographs at different exposure settings and artfully compress the dynamic range down into something that can be displayed on a regular monitor. in a tv video context, it refers to increasing the actual dynamic range of the display system. there is no realistic way to represent hdr video content on a non hdr screen

I have two monitors at work, sort of one is a fairly recent Dell 24", the other is a Dell optiplex AIO 7440. I use the hdmi input with my hp elitebook ultra slim dock thing. but I can also remote into th AIO for wfh they are both vastly inferior to my viewsonic 28". vastly
