HDMI 1.4 added support for 4K × 2K, i.e. 4096×2160 at 24 Hz (which is a resolution used with digital theaters), 3840×2160 (Ultra HD) at 24 Hz/25 Hz/30 Hz, and support for 1080p at 120 Hz.

if you have to use windows just get 1080p, it will save a you a lot of trouble but also money which you can use to invest in a proper computer hth
