So it's been about four years since watching season one, and I've started a new watch but have a small question after my fiancée pointed it out — in the second episode, how does Anansi know the future he tells the captured slaves? I figured it's because he's a trickster deity and related to stories, or oracular god. Wasn't sure if there's more to it.
