I thought it was a really nice detail in Mr. Wednesday's intro, in which he scams that airplane lady into getting him on first class, that (major spoilers revealed late in the book) he usually travels with his son, who takes care of everything for him. And of course, who does he sit next to on the plane but his boy, Shadow Moon?

double nine posted:It's trivial and I shouldn't get hung up on it, but why the hell was Anansi wearing a modern suit? Divinities in Neil Gaiman works don't tend to play by the standard mortal concept of linear time. There's tons of poo poo like that in the Sandman.
