jammyozzy posted:Nope, push type slave cylinder. The actual hole is 7.05/7.15mm, I was trying to find something in our catalogue to locate it reasonably well without resorting to a doweled stud or something like that. Oh, the concentric ones that go inside the bellhousing? Eh, I'd say ream it out to 8mm if it's a major hassle, but I've become somewhat complacent about M7s turning up, some manufacturers seem to have a real thing for them.

People will stump up that sort of money for a Celica Supra that (1) has been hosed about with, and (2) has a borked engine?

CAT INTERCEPTOR posted:That's how everyone can afford both. Oh and taxes used for both rather than bombing another ME country. Though on the other side, pushing university as the "best" education path is mistaken. It should be a tool for enhancing knowledge/learning of a specific subject, as and when academia is the best approach to do so. You need good general education that's fit-for-purpose, and to respect that vocational training and apprenticehips are not a "lesser" option. There's a lot to be said for becoming a good plumber or electrician etc as a way to secure your ability to put food on the table, even better if you have an affinity for something where society at large is looking down the barrel of upcoming "natural wastage" of the current skilled providers of it. Something needs to be done about the feedback loop of "Everyone goes for a degree because you need a degree to get a job because everyone goes for a degree of some kind now". hosed if I know what though, I'd imagine it's a bit of a house of cards at present, and poking it too hard will be very much worse-before-it-gets-better territory.
