Very glad since the alternative was a literal Blue Labour guy (the previous candidate stood down since he'd lost twice to the Tory MP already) Which constituency? Will be interesting to see how much better he does.

To be entirely honest he's not been the same since his ma died at which point his attitude towards the health service did a complete 180.

Is this going to be my actual home in Foreign, or my last address in my constituency? The latter doesn't really make sense to me, but you never know with these people.

TinTower posted:The girl Danczuk was sexting was interviewing for a job in his constituency office, IIRC. Yeah, but age still isn't a factor there (beyond ramping up the grossness exponentially), you're not allowed to hit on people working for you or applying for jobs if they're 17 or 71.

e: nvm e2: some quick google/wikipedia tells me this is a matter of contention: the flag with two stars represents specifically the Syrian Arab Republic and is explicitly Baathist. Before then the flag had three stars and opposition forces use the three star version as means of protest and distinguishing themselves. To be fair, though, these sort of wanky, shithead parties are always the first ones to arrive and camp out a prominent spot with a giant rear end stupid loving banner at any event where they think they can get a pic in the papers. The don't actually do anything productive or helpful to any cause or event that they poisonously and forcibly associate themselves with, and nobody wants them there, but you're often forced to endure their presence as long as they're not actively being twatish cunts. I guess that if McDonnell was booked to speak those banners were there long before he turned up to do his five minute bit, so he didn't have much choice other than moving it somewhere else, which night not've been an option in terms of moving the audio/visual equipment necessary for delivering a speech to a large crowd. I've been to any number of anti racism demos and counter-marches, and you always see the twats from the SWP lurking around with the biggest banners and black bin bags full of ready-made SWP placards that they're trying to hand out to anyone gullible enough to take one. Never see them up front when the bricks start flying though.
