The last couple of months have been pretty nuts for big releases! Actually, holy poo poo, this whole year has been! So naturally, things are a bit quieter this month, with only a couple of big AAA bangers, a few larger-scale indies, and some ports and some other stuff that might be good but also sadly might not be good. op please include kemoket on may 6 really sneakily I got lucky and found a Persona 3 ost today, I'm told it's great but my only experience with Persona music is Persona Q. But if they're anything alike, then yeah it'll be good poo poo

Rime looks pretty neat and I'm digging its art style. But I am holding off on any indie/smaller game that is on the Switch in case I get one in the next month or two. I guess Zelda is kind of owning that style for the time being though

I was in last phase with final boss ship and almost had it but ran out of drones because I had gotten stuck in a lovely bad loop 5 minutes into the first phase and had to reset it by flying away and fighting him again letting him completely heal

Considering we're talking about a Kickstarter that dedicates a chunk of the Q&A portion of its description to the hows and whens of releasing a post-release dirty-pictures patch, I'd suggest a reasonably-high tier where you DON'T get your name in the credits.

On a less yea/nay stance I ask: what game that wasn't put out this year have you guys been enjoying most so far? Or do you folks here play exclusively new releases? On my end I've been chained to Euro Truck Sim 2 again as it's soothing and great for podcasts, but I've also been dipping my toes into wargames with Panzer Corp and Ultimate General: Gettysburg. (Mostly 'cause I've been listening to a strategy game podcast and it convinced me to check these out.) I'm really, really bad at winning battles or wars, but it's fun to try, and I appreciate how easy these games are to pick up and play for a newbie.

I still play a lot of GTA V Online with my cousin. Its just good for loving around and shooting the poo poo. Plus they keep updating it. And I'm always popping in different old SNES or N64 games here and there. Lately I was playing Mega Man X2 which is just always a blast. But in between I'm also playing new releases Hollow Knight and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

I have fond memories of playing X1-3 as a kid to the point where I still hum some of the tunes sporadically. Young me had to cheat through those games but they were fun anyways!
