Also the starter pack lets players jump into multiplayer from the get-go and start building their decks and arsenals without playing through the first couple of chapters of the single-player mode (which is kinda of a lenghty tutorial) Edit: yes, the starter pack is free

I'm betting most people are doing single-player but I've seen others post on the discord that they were not able to connect/find matches. If you're playing on PC this will probably help fix it: http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-on-windows/social/troubleshoot-party-chat
