You mean like how they never acknowledge that they're actually dead people? Yeah. I think there was probably some broadcast code they had to adhere to, so it ended up basically just being Lorenzo Music vs Goofy Monsters. Which is fine, really. Here's a fun thing I never knew until it ended up on Netflix: a lot of Slimer's dialogue is actually coherent sentences, just made incomprehensible. If you turn on subtitles, it tells you what he's saying a lot of the time. ---------------- |

I think it would behoove them to go back and make a remaster where, whenever a ghost comes onto the screen, they announce clearly "I am a ghost".

...I'm really sad that I'm the person pointing this out, but Season 2, Episode 48 (!?), "Ghostbuster of the Year" clearly shows that the ghosts are dead people. And Slimer is the ghost of Danny DeVito, everyone knows that.

In addition to characters clarifying their ghost status upon appearance, they should also need to clarify the following: They are/are not villains. They are/are not protagonists. They are/are not wearing a hat. They are/are not over 40. They are/are not aware they, the character, are in a movie or TV show. They are/are not afraid of bees. |
