I moved from England to the US twelve years ago and I miss European robins so much.



They're adorable little borbs and super curious about humans. They're especially fond of people gardening and like to hang about to grab any earthworms that get turned up when you're digging.



They'll even let you hand feed them! Totally wild robins will just hop on over and take seed straight from your hand.

They totally would be if I'd ever seen any. :(

I did get to see blue herons strutting around El Segundo though, that was really cool! They were just a few feet away from us totally chill about having a half dozen humans watching them.
