(Note: In Canada) Pretty well what the title says. I've got an HP Pavilion 23 All-In-One: https://support.hp.com/ca-en/document/c04750820 This morning it just won't boot up, and I can hear a faint beeping noise from the power adapter (multiple plugs tried). The adapter is a HP TPC-LA57, e.g. https://www.amazon.com/HP-TouchSmart-15-j00019-5V-TPC-LA57-PA-1900-31HC/dp/B015G4DHCM 90W (100V-240V) 19.5V Output So I need to find one of these locally, and am having no luck. I can get something from I think Ontario in a week or two, but this machine is hosting the POS for a retail location (I was not involved in this decision). In the short term, can I use a universal notebook adaptor brick that supplies the same voltage? All the descriptions of the TPC-LA57 I've read make me think it's a repurposed laptop/notebook adapter anyway. The one I was thinking was this: http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/insignia-insignia-universal-90w-laptop-charger-ns-pwlc591-c-ns-pwlc591-c/10291542.aspx However all the universal style adapters I can find say 90W/19V, but the TPC-LA57 says 19.5V; is that going to mess me around?

Hah, we ended up with an exact match voltage wise on a Targus universal. Exact same thing, completely bricked. Not the power adaptor unfortunately.
