Ahead of Bethesda's conference, some retailers have leaked Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. Allegedly due out October 27th for PC/PS4/XB1, which is an interesting date because apparently that puts it up against the new AssCreed. Maybe it's a current technological necessity, but it just seems like VR has nothing in common with videogames AT ALL, and yet the only thing people can think to do with the tech is shoehorn it into traditional videogame paradigms. VR is its own thing, it has about as much in common with videogames as a camera obscura has with a polaroid. Count me out until VR is used for something interesting.
