Ok so this deserves it's own thread because otherwise I'm going to just be posting poo poo like crazy. Right now confirmed things happening: grand jury subpoenas are out, Washington DC FBI is raiding GOP fundraising branch in Annapolis. Said branch runs tea party fundraising among many others. The whitehouse readout of the visit with the russian completely neglects to mention the FSB officer (kislyak) that was there as well. The official white house photos also have cropped out kislyak from them. The official white house statement has zero mention whatsoever of kislyak. Trump has said that he planned to fire Comey long before the deputy AG letter despite Spicer, the Huckspawn, and Pence all saying sticking hard to the company line about the deputy AG letter. Crazy  stuff: GOP has been laundering money from Russia into campaign pockets for the better part of a decade. Things ramped up massively with Trump and the fundraising outfit raided today has direct ties to him via one of his casino shell companies. Paul Ryan and Reince Priebus are going down in a RICO case along with other members of GOP leadership. Trump & Pence to face obstruction of justice charges.Anyways, none of this probably real, but I wanna talk about it and not completely poo poo up the CE thread. Israeli press is going on right now about how Trump sold their secrets to russia, and has insulted their hold sites and their PM. Potential visit to Israel canceled and apparently some Israeli politicians have already put out statements distancing themselves from Trump. Multiple outlets in the White House and intel communities try to downplay the damage trump could really do because he's to stupid to actually understand anything he's told and is incapable of expressing anything in an effective way.

It's all just like the cries about finding the "leakers." The unmasking, which as Clapper described thoroughly in multiple committee hearings, is basically a specific request from someone to unredact part of an intelligence report that typically just contains US Person 1, US Person 2, etc. There were multiple legitimate intelligence intercepts of Trump's people talking to monitored ruskies. Certain ones of these were requested to be unmasked by senior Obama officials and were then disseminated along with the rest of the trump/russia intel to make sure that this didn't get completely squashed after the change of office. Any requests regarding unmasking are partisan attacks trying to make it appear like Obama admin was specifically targeting/monitoring trump people. Straight up state level attacks.
