Your carrier is actually the giantest robot? Does it, like, lose carrier abilities when it's in that form or something?

"Why are you so strong" is not a question to expect to be asked of a protagonist-side mech in an SRW game. Given the nature of the poo poo you usually end up fighting.

Let me guess, the Rushbird has a hidden secret power that makes it much better than the numerically superior machine they're currently piloting.

Angels walk the earth and still politics are happening. Then again, Tokyo-3 probably wants to keep this whole phenomenon on the down-low, given the givens.

Rigged Death Trap posted:IMO, NGE has way overstayed its welcome in SRW. It tends to dominate the overarching story in a way that just isnt novel anymore, and in a way none of the other mainstays do. I like how Kaoru seems to recognize he's in... what is this, like, the fifth remake?

It's a good thing that attack came with a convenient FRONT TOWARD SPACE nameplate.

You have to wonder what goes through the minds of people who kidnap Relena. "Sure," they think, "everyone else who's tried has had their entire armies wiped out by a single robot, but surely this time will be different."

I like that since the Iczer's story is more personal they can actually get a significant amount of plot mileage out of somebody being cocky at the wrong moment and getting smacked down.

Really your fate was sealed as soon as you put on the wire-frame spectacles. Nobody gets in a robot with guns bigger than an entire human being wearing wire-frame spectacles.

Yeah, I suppose asking you to hurry over this kind of terrain is just adding insult to injury. Do we not even have, like, the one token robot whose entire thing is that it kicks rear end in the water?

Yeah, you know? You'd think with all these shows taking place out in space that more people would be taking the time to stargaze.

Putting the armor back on is a nice punch-robot equivalent of dropping your sword back in its sheath. Well done that attack animation.

I do kind of appreciate that the Angels understand when Third Impact might get jacked out from under them. It's like, what if you did Third Impact but all that did was wake up Cthulhu? Who wins then? Well, Cthulhu, which is the point.
