I have beaten this game and have less than no idea what happened during it, because on top of everything else I haven't seen most of the shows that form its plot.

He's clearly praising his subordinate for having grown, but he lacks the proper tact to phrase "But you have room for improvement" as anything but "It wasn't perfect."

I like to think this puts to rest the thoughts that Reiji's just a hardass thinking that everyone's poo poo. You can see here that he has a very good reason for wanting Ichitaka to leave and get to safety, but if Ichitaka shows his determination to stay, then Reiji will back down and let him, rather than try to force him to do otherwise or scream about insubordination.

When she was brought by the Romefeller foundation to be a figurehead her response was to completely blow them off and say what she wanted too anyway. Even when she was going to the Libra her response was basically "I'm going to convince my brother to stop fighting and you can really just put all those Guns down because I don't care."

And then goes and smirks at Heero because she can. Relena is not intimidated by anyone at all. Like... it makes me laugh when people go Relena's an idiot, when she isn't she just doesn't care for anyone's posturing. Heero threatening her that being around him will lead to her death (And let us clarify, the "I'll kill you" he's saying to her, especially at the beginning is "Stay away from me because if you keep hanging around me, you'll die." not literally that he's going to kill her) only excites her. I just loving love Relena because she's got some of the biggest balls in Gundam Wing and no one gives her enough credit.

The worst thing for a villain is Relena isn't afraid of them, they can have the gun to her forehead and there isn't a trace of fear from her. There isn't anyone you can threaten to get at her, because all the people close to her are warriors of some regard, and you can't threaten her because she's aware that if she wasn't needed, that she'd be killed.

Until the end of Combattler V's first half (Which coincidentally, is all SRW bothers to adapt AFAIK) the show is worth adapting, We've seen it use parts of it in SRW before, but I don't ever recall seeing the whole thing. Part 2 becomes very goofy and monster of the weekish. As I said once, my biggest surprise with Combattler V, is how much of an rear end in a top hat Hyouma, Juzo and really the whole team except Chizuru are. Go watch the first episode of Combattler V, Hyouma leads the police on a merry chase while speeding on his motorcycle, and when finally pulled over, just whips out his immunity from the japanese minister I believe. Juzo carries his rifle in the open and does the same despite unnerving the bus he's on. Hell it's implied the 4 boys only really accepted the job because Chizuru gave them wowzers in their trousers (which is not uncommon for 70's mecha. After all, the Dynamic Pro anime of Getter Robo basically had Michiru as the pilots reasons for even wanting to get in the machines.) Combattler V is worth watching, if only to learn the origin of the Choudenjii Yo Yo. I think it's like... an episode or two after they get the drunk rear end doctor as their new mentor and someone points out "Hey there's a Yoyo exhibition on the TV" Cut to, I poo poo you loving not, about a minute of live action yo yo footage.
