Can anybody reccomend a refresher of the series, like a youtube video or something? It's been a couple of years since I last saw both the series and FWWM and, while I remember most of it outside of the bullshit sections of season two, I would like to make sure I didn't forget anything important. Like the ring stuff I had completely forgotten about before watching RedLetterMedia's recent video on FWWM.

If you have an hour to burn, this one is really well done. Got me all the way in the mood.

So if I'm not willing to add Showtime via my tv provider, basically my only other option is to watch it via free trial on the app on my iPhone?

David Lynch would never approve.

The login from the free trial you make on the iPhone app can be used with Showtime Anytime, so you can watch it on your PC. There's also the option to add the channel to your Amazon account, and once you do that, you may be able to watch Showtime stuff through Amazon Video apps on various device, though I'm not sure about that.

How do I log in to Showtime Anytime with the Apple login? When I try to log in on the Anytime site, it asks me to select from a list of TV providers.

For me there were 2 login options, one for if you signed up with the Showtime app and one if you had Showtime through a TV provider. I clicked the first login option, entered my email/password from the app and it signed me in.

Yeah, I can sign in to the Showtime website that way, but not the Showtime Anytime site or app. It looks like the free Apple trial doesn't actually include Showtime Anytime, which really sucks because I wanted to see episodes 3 and 4 tonight.

I hope Coop gets un-broken soon. There's only so many episodes.

The buildup to what Dr Jacoby's shovels were for was fantastic.

Man I dunno, this show is just dragging on and there aren't many episodes left for things to get resolved. What even is this?

idk, i think its pretty late in the season to start introducing new plot threads (the Audrey/Billy thing, whatever is happening with Sarah Palmer, etc). Maybe everything will tie together somehow, but I have my doubts.

I've pretty much given up on Cooper coming back, too. If he does, it will be a nice surprise but I'm not holding my breath.

Yeah, unless there's a season after this (there won't be), I don't see this coming together as a satisfying third season to the series. I'm in it to the end, but I've been increasingly dissapointed by this revival. I hope to be proven wrong by the end.

I guess this just isn't what I wanted or expected out of Twin Peaks. More than half the show doesn't even take place in the titular town. Most of the series' returning characters don't feature heavily or are just there for side bits. Dougie Coop has run his course. There's so many more interesting things they could be doing with this season.

Like I said, I'd love for the final run of episodes to just come together in an amazing way and make all of this pay off, but at this point I'm pretty "eh" on the show. Whether it's Lynch trolling or not is irrelevant.

So, you're upset that the show isn't an hour of nostalgia porn every week?

More that the bulk of these episodes seem to be wasting time more than adding anything meaningful to the story.

Maybe Coop will come back to us tonight. :)

Now THAT was a loving episode.

It makes me sad that we're almost done and more of the episodes weren't like this.

I'm not pleased that this entire season went by with Coop only turning up for the final batch. The Dougie poo poo went on for way too long and the payoff isn't nearly worth all the missed opportunities to do something more interesting than farting around with vegetable coop. Call me a butthurt nerd if you want, but I feel kind of cheated.

Anyway, good episode, I'm expecting big things for the finale.

That's the loving ending to Twin Peaks?

What a god damned waste this entire season has been.
