I switched my Internet from AT&T to Hugh's Net a few weeks ago, and my Google Chrome continued working for a while. But then all of a sudden, it just...crashed. All my tabs became "cannot connect to the Internet", complete with the Chrome dinosaur invading every page. Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox worked just fine, but my Chrome was DOA. I tried clearing my cache and tried re-installing it; neither of those actions worked. I just kept gett Does anyone have any insight as to how I might be able to solve this problem? I mean, Internet Explorer and Mozilla are functional, but they don't seem to have many of the bells and whistles that came with Chrome. How do I install it to another directory? The popups I get from clicking "ChromeSetup.exe" (the ones that ask if I want to proceed) don't give me the option of choosing. It just says that the download location will be "C:\User\Owner\AppData\Local\Temp\GU\[whole bunch of other stuff that looks like gibberish]".

Zogo posted:Not usually but it happens. Are you running any antivirus software? If so, uninstalling it and just use Microsoft's. Haha! Running those three programs did it! The 1st one didn't get anything, but the 2nd one got rid of 162 threats! And then the 3rd one also got rid of some other stuff! Thank you so much! So, where do I find Microsoft's antivirus software? I'd find it myself, but...apparently I keep running into a whole bunch of malware when I try to download anything .
