I'd try completely uninstalling it and then installing the latest version to a new directory.

Yea, I remember now that there is no option to do that. I'd try doing this: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/299357/how-to-reset-tcp-ip-by-using-the-netshell-utility

Fionordequester posted:Just tried that, restarted my computer (as per it's intructions) and...still not working. Just to be sure, changing my internet provider shouldn't have thrown off Google Chrome, right? Not usually but it happens. Are you running any antivirus software? If so, uninstalling it and just use Microsoft's. Also, run these three: https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/tdsskiller/ https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/ https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/junkware-removal-tool/

Fionordequester posted:Haha! Running those three programs did it! The 1st one didn't get anything, but the 2nd one got rid of 162 threats! And then the 3rd one also got rid of some other stuff! Thank you so much! So, where do I find Microsoft's antivirus software? I'd find it myself, but...apparently I keep running into a whole bunch of malware when I try to download anything . Windows defender is built into the OS so you just have to make sure it's enabled and updating (unless you're on an older OS like Vista/XP).
