Problem description: I am setting up a client VPN from a home to a small office, the router I am using to VPN into is a Cisco RV130W running an IPsec VPN server. I can get the tunnel up and going, but I can't send any info through, and I know it's because I messed up the IP settings as far as the client goes (the remote and local IP addresses). I know that you can't have two separate sites with the same IP address scheme (IE: a 192.168.1.1 sub 255.255.255.0 <---VPN CONN---> 192.168.1.1 sub 255.255.255.0) but I am not sure how to setup the IP settings so that I can have the tunnel going and be able to access a share or remote into a machine, on the other side. If at all possible I would prefer to have the tunnel going, and have only remote desktop, as well as shared folders show up across the VPN, while web surfing traffic is routed through the local connection. Attempted fixes: Googled, got tunnel working.
