Rip Alberta

it's genuinely amusing what a pack of jackals have been running this province for the past 50-odd years

the provincial NDP's gonna get shitcanned next election because they got handed a no-win fiscal situation spawned by a nearly unbroken line of conservative profligacy and everyone's got their head so far up their rear end that they think it's somehow the NDP's policies driving away investment instead of oil now being permanently in the toilet

like, the world will absolutely be unrecognizable in 50 years because mass automation will cause an enormous crisis in capitalist economies, but if you think we're hitting the singularity in 30 years i wanna see your drat calculations

hey guys there is a housing bubble rn in us again because rofl we don't actually learn any lessons and/or don't care about poor people getting hosed when our greed tanks the economy

it's more that the actual, real, productive economy has been gradually seeing a decrease in the rate of profit since the 1960s and the only profitable investments people can find these days to keep their businesses afloat are insane gambling ventures like subprime mortgages
