ISIS is pretty much the brotherhood of mutants in that it is just starting poo poo with whomever it can because once the war starts all muslims will have to join to survive. But I really don't think they have thought that end game out enough. What happens when the EU collapses and Germany absorbs the weaker countries around it to become "Central Powers Mk. II" and goes on the warpath in the middle east. Its not like any of the nations that have the strength to (Russia China France UK and US) stop them would care.
