Jxforema: Sep 23, 2005; long live the Space Pope

Due to a recent lawsuit, the basic cable I was getting as part of my HOA fees is going away and I'm looking into getting antennas for my TV's. What features should I be looking for? Are the amplified versions the better deal? I'm in the Phoenix area, and have nothing other than houses blocking me from the transmitters on south mountain, about 30 miles away.
