I know there is a pretty decent SEAI contingent (NC, VA, WV, SC, GA, etc).

Wrar, TR, and myself (plus a non goon buddy or 2) are going to do a driving day in the Blue Ridge Foothills outside of Stuart/Woolwine, VA on June 12. (A Monday)

If anyone wants to join us the rally point is The Wood Brothers Racing Museum, and I've included the drive route too:

Brum Brum Noises Here!

Figure we'll drive that loop (1hr), check out the museum, grab some lunch, drive it again or other sweet roads in the area and then head home.

edit: Time!

Meet around 11:30AM (we'll be driving up from Durham at about 9:30 and it's a 2 hour trip)

Can anyone tell if Hwy 609 by woolwine is paved? it looks like it might be a fun drive in the area too, but google doesn't have street view, nor is satellite close enough to really tell.

Trip Report:
Elmo's Diner was a kickass breakfast.
Wood Brothers Racing was on a high as they had just won Pocono.
There was an Avalon on the Blue Ridge. It was driving at REASONABLE ATTACK. We were pleasantly surprised.
Highway 8 had brand spanking new blacktop and a 55 speed limit all the way down the mountain. (25-35 yellow corner advisories)
On the way home I almost went all NEMESIS on a stupid LEAF.

Did not find 609.

Overall A++

Will post hard parking group shot later.
