Man this game looks weird. In some palces its almost phospohorus white and others, its pretty much pitch black. And whats the deal with the small engagement ranges here? On compound you spawn like just across the objective of each other, leading to some confusing and unfun chaos fights where sheer luck decides if you live or die within 5 seconds....
Nothing like the Vietnam I've read about. It was truly an engagement of two national armies marching at one another in lockstep. Yes sir.

Lol I was on a balcony as a cong with a mosin as our lines broke so I was suddenly behind enemy lines.
I shot so many confused GI in the back. I wouldn't kill the squad leader (who never looks like a basic grunt. Always a dude with a shottie and bandana, etc etc.) They kept spawning and dying.

I believe that occurs when you're wildly behind enemy lines as to prevent spawn camping and drive a front lines combat. In reality it can be done poorly and you'll find yourself unable to raise your gun.

Seems like it would be, bigger bullet and all.
Speaking of bullets though, is the Mosin off for anyone else? I'm having a gently caress of a time getting consistent hits at all kinds of ranges.
The only time I hit with a mosin was on a balcony and no one knew where I was. The minute my screen gets a little wobble from incoming I'm good as hosed. So, I use the AKM mostly.

i'm hesitant to blanket mute because sometimes voice chat turns out useful
i was playing ro once as ija and the commander was a japanese dude, like japanese characters in his name, didn't speak english, etc. the only english words he knew were "wait" and "go now" and he ended up being an excellent leader. he would just say "wait... wait.... wait... wait... wait... *sound of arty* go. go now. go now go now go go go go GO NOW GO GO. BANZAI!" and like three matches in a row he managed to coordinate excellent charges that swept the map. that guy ruled
This guy sounds great.
