I'll play your game.

Who will hold the NXT, Smackdown, and RAW main titles as of 2/21/2022?
-NXT Kazuchika Okada, Main Triple H
Who will have recently won the 2022 Royal Rumble?
-Charlotte
Will the brand split still be in effect?
-No
Will NXT still be a touring-level brand?
-Yes, but it'll still be viewed/presented as a minor league/developmental offering.
Will the WWE Network still exist?
-Yes kinda, see next question.
Will Smackdown and RAW still be available via traditional cable deals?
-Yes via ESPN when they buy the media rights after they expire in 2019. WWE Network becomes a big cornerstone for ESPN's stand-alone streaming option, though ESPN will still have a presence on cable/sat TV. The latter won't be dead in 2022 yet, though the signs are there.
Which current tag teams will still be active and primarily competing as tag wrestlers?
-None of them.
Who will be the Authority Figures on each show?
-Steph/Triple H
Will Sami Zayn have held the WWE Championship or the WWE Universal Championship?
-No
Will Roman Reigns have been turned heel?
-Not really, he continuously exists in tweener zone similar to Super Cena, though with some more overly heel tendencies. The trigger is never fully pulled into straight heeldom, though.
Does CM Punk appear on WWE TV in the interim?
-No, though talk about putting him into the HOF has people wondering if the bridge might be rebuilt one day. This is dependent on Vince still being alive/active, as he'll have to be the catalyst for a reunion, not Triple H.
Will the WWE face a competitor capable of topping TNA's highwater mark of a 1.45 rating?
-No, in fact WWE would love to pull that on TV themselves. With the show being available live on the ESPN app the audience is split, with most viewing on the app vs. tv.

Looking at WM 5 years ago and trying to predict WM 5 years from now seems impossible

I was curious and broke this down. 43 people performed at Wrestlemania 5 years ago in some fashion. Out of those 43, 23 are on active contract currently (53%), even if their roles have changed. 19 of those performed at this year's show (44%), with 16 wrestling (37%). So nearly 2/3rds of the people who were on that show 5 years ago weren't part of this year's. If I wanted to eliminated the part-timers, we're at 12 (28%). 28% seems like a good baseline to work off of.

I decided to compare it to the champs in the 4 major US sports from 5 years ago. For the NFL it's if they played in 2016, NBA/NHL/MLB is if they've played in 2017:

Baltimore Ravens - 60 on roster, 31 still in league (52%), 11 still on roster (18%). Nearly half of the Super Bowl team from 5 years ago is out of the NFL, with the Ravens having turned over more than 4/5ths of that roster.

Boston Red Sox - 48 on roster, 21 still in league (44%), 6 still on roster (13%). Half of the World Series champs are out of baseball or haven't appeared in a game this season, with only a handful still in Boston.

Miami Heat - 18 on roster, 9 still in league (50%), 2 still on roster (11%). This was a unique situation because Miami was the LeBron/Bosh/Wade Superteam and now only one of them are on the team (Bosh still counts because he was under contract even though for all intents and purposes his career is over). Still, that's a significant amount of overhaul.

Chicago Blackhawks - 32 on roster, 21 still in league (66%), 10 still on roster (31%). Considering how physical a game stickpuck is and how often guys play hurt, I'm amazed that 2/3rds of the Stanley Cup champ roster still played last season.

Compared to the major sports leagues WWE comes off as having more turnover, which makes sense given the travel and wear and tear and lack of an offseason. Realistically, it makes sense that 2/3rds to 3/4ths of the roster from this year's Wrestlemania won't make it to the one in 2022.
