THE MACHO MAN posted:oh, great. Now the Rangers are following the old Toronto philosophy of sucking, but only sucking enough to get 9th or 10th every year Toronto's in-fiction sucking now is to make the playoffs as a low seed every 2-3 years and immediately get swept.

Gord Murphy is resigned to his fate and eagerly awaits the sweet embrace of death in Toronto.

Congrats to Toronto for being 20 full points behind where they were at the same time last season. Jesus loving christ this team.

I swear to Gord if he stuck around in Toronto for the bulk of his career and then bails out of Calgary after 1.5 seasons to go to some loser team I will be very upset with Mr. Murphy

I sort of wish Gord had gone out on top, but I guess if he's still a 20-goal scorer the league would be a much worse place without him. First ballot HHOF for sure when he hangs 'em up, though.

From Cup champs to missing the playoffs to 38 points halfway through the season. Outstanding.

Gord could easily carry Calgary to another Cup if they put him back on the top pairing, imo
