Spring Break My Heart posted:people say the same thing about the officiating every year. like maybe the anaheim/edmonton stuff was worse than usual (although theres always some magnification in late game close situations in a 7 games series) but go through every year and you will find the exact same posts. poo poo you see it in nba/mlb/nfl. its hard to get worked up about poo poo like the inconsistency of roughing calls, as if theyve ever been consistent in any point in nhl history. *Blows Whistle* This post gets you a four minute double minor in the sin bin.

I can safely say I have personally never said "when was the last time officiating was this consistently bad" because yeah dude I understand that there will never be perfect reffing, but to me it has been noticeably awful compared to the many years I've been soaking in playoffs
