Tyreek is entering the second year of his rookie contract, he's got two more years before there's even the option to exercise and three before the deadline to re-sign him. Marcus Peters is still one and two years out, respectively, for the same. In that time, Alex Smith's contract will be up and that's a shitload of space to pay for them. You might want to tone down the alarm bells for that one until after a couple regular season games.

Peters got burned for a couple games and then got better. Since then no one throws at him, at all.

I love this video, because he throws off his back foot in stride, doesn't follow through at all, throws it sidearm across his body to his receiver. And it still goes 50 goddamn yards in the air.
