If you can mug the opposing team in the paint forever with no calls then it removes their ability to space the floor and forces them into a contested jump shooting team. If you get called every time you breath on the them in paint you can't guard the inside well and it leaves that team open to score at will. That's this game reffing in a nut shell. It doesn't help that the Cavs have also been really bad.

They tend to just remember the washed-up 90s version.

I think the Cavs will bounce back at least a bit They just came off playing at the level of the: Pacers Raptors Celtics (and they actually lost one without the teams best scorer) If Ty Lue is actually a genius coach he might be able to win a game here
