As a responsible parent I of course installed the Uber app on all my children's phones. Where I excel as a parent is I got my Uber license and drive them around and charge them, thereby teaching them the value of money, how to be responsible with needing a ride someplace, plus their mother and I know where they are and who they're with

Back in my day we had to walk around the neighborhood to find a good, unsecured wi-fi network with the default password! Uphill, both ways! Through 80ms of lag! And we liked it that way!

We didn't have figdet spinners and man buns, we went outside and played with a stick! A joystick! In the arcade! And we got haircuts! Because it was part of the bargain to get the quarters to play the video games!

You kids today with your backpacks, we had sharp metal lunchboxes with TETANUS! And we were grateful for it! With your smooth-cornered smartphones, they issued us a pointy compass ready to pluck out an eye and glue you could eat! Anyway, pass the kale.
