Mr. Nice! posted:I get why they're being so silent and non-committal on things. Coates is a trump appointee and stuck in a precarious spot and/or is a toady. Rogers is still active duty military and is limited in what he can and cannot do as a result regarding the commander in chief. McCabe and Rosenstein don't want to step on Mueller's toes and interfere with an ongoing investigation. Still lovely, but understandable. They also know anything they say publicly is going to be a soundbite in the next couple elections, and they probably don't want to get mixed up in that. They might be more forthcoming in a private session, I hope.
