It still has platoon-level rules, but it's some weird platoon/battalion hybrid where everyone gets to play with support units that only a division would get. You could use the minis to play any of osprey's games or corvus belli's infinity, which is what my friends and I do.

In Dark Heresy 2 there's a monster which is a swarm of cyborg rats that eat techpriests and anyone else with cybernetics, then they steal the cybernetics and use them to make more cyborg rats. I thought that was pretty cool.
