Flikken posted:Yeah, except the only way to get a single point is to kick a PAT after a touchdown or return a blocked PAT(this is new and hasn't happened yet as far I'm concerned) The rouge sounds awesome, as does kicking the ball out of the endzone instead of returning it but our endzones are smaller. Coming into this late but I'm a rules nerd so here we are. You are correct that the rouge is awesome. The point behind it is that you're rewarding an offence for being able to get the ball into their opponents endzone, and the opponent not being able to get it out. It makes kicking plays a lot more interesting as there's always something that's going to happen (especially since some members of the kicking team can technically recover their own kick). For reference of how interesting things can get, please watch my favorite play of all time: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d5BFaykcxGg One field goal attempt, 2 return kicks, and a dribbled ball for a touchdown Fun fact: if the ball hits the uprights when it's being kicked out of the endzone, it's a live ball. Never seen it happen, but I can imagine everything getting a little crazy.
