That tunnel is incredibly creepy, and inexplicably full of food. Are we to take it the shadows don't eat? Even the dead bodies don't look eaten, just mutilated. The train backgrounds certainly are beautiful, and I like how they even build up the otherworldliness of the environment. The mountains and forests look like they're higher resolution than anything else in the game, so when you see a blocky piece of wreckage sticking out it's extremely obvious.
