No, you're required to go off the board with the 1st overall pick. No McDavid, no Crosby. Have to select somebody who's great, but not amazing.

I'll still never forget the guy who took Tyler Johnson in the top 15 (I think it might have even been top 10) like 3 years ago.

The Jets (and by extension picks 13 and 50 & onwards) would like to swap spots with somebody near the end of the first round, if they're interested.

I said this in the Discord, but I'll swap picks (25/38 onward) with you. Just posting so everybody else knows.

Kilza's already offering 25th, so unless somebody between 26 and 31 steps forward, I'll probably go with that.

Actually, the whole draft is wrong. We should randomize the order and use that order to pick which spot you get in the draft.

what a great thing to wake up to. god bless this man.

so just to give everyone a day to look at the thread and see that this is starting,

The draft timer will kick off tomorrow, Thursday July 13, at 10:00 AM EST!! HOWEVER this year's fantasy draft is going to feature some Pre-Alpha Early Access. I know the drain of the offseason has left you all worn, so we can start the picking as soon as corn on the cop feels like bringing us the sweet release of faux hockey. nobody is going to get skipped for picks until tomorrow so that everyone has a chance to see that we are going live.

when you guys make a pick, make sure you add the player to the spreadsheet and put his salary information on there. CapFriendly is a fantastic site to get salary information from. we are using the projected salary cap/floor for this coming season of $75,000,000 for the cap and $55,400,000 for the floor. let's party

I've taken a C with my annual top 4 pick every year I've done this.

Not this time.

Philadelphia selects and welcomes D Erik Karlsson, where his absurd talent will truly be appreciated.
