I had a lot of fun playing the SWAT 4 demo as a kid but the demo level was so small you could just sprint in and dome all the terrorists before they started killing hostages

It sounds like it's just pointing a spaceship on a 2D plane and firing broadsides until you get bored like that ship battle minigame from Sid Meier's Pirates but with no other gameplay I hated it even though I think I bought it on sale super cheap
