I'm really digging Made in Abyss. The art/animation is gorgeous and the story, at least one episode in, is intriguing. And holy poo poo the music is fantastic.

Having watched one episode of Kakegurui, it seems like a show really hampered by being (yet another) anime set in a highschool. It's premise is just dumb and would have been much better suited by being set in the world of professional gamblers or a fight club style thing of ordinary salary people.

I watched the first two episodes back to back and I think I might continue to watch it in chunks especially if the mysteries are going to be contained in short arcs (assuming this first one wraps up w/ep3); I think the pacing will work better like that rather than speeding headlong into a week's wait for the next part. Is it basically anime X-Files?

I love how it took exactly one text for the sister to give away that she was texting from her brother's phone. Also lovesick girl who thinks she has a cold is adorable.

There's a lot of good completely new stuff this season: Kakegurui (I also really like that the ED did some really good stuff with a great song and 3 short walk cycles) Made in Abyss Tsurezure Children and a few others No reason to waste time on a subpar born in another world anime

I think he also forgot that he even had the whole body jumping experience, except for a vague feeling that something was off, so had no reason to really do a lot of investigating.

Gamers is pretty alright. I was expecting lots of "LOL US Gamerz rite???" stuff but it's kinda touching and heartwarming and funny.

Most of it doesn't really focus on console or pc games. It's pretty much all arcade, mobile, or the quasi casino games that are popular in Japan. Two background characters play fighting games or FPS's but they've barely speak a dozen lines between the two of them.
