Pelosi, Obama, Hillary

All have the stink of n-word-ism clinging to them and as such more humiliating defeats are certain until you purge the party of their influence

my concern with replacing Pelosi is that given the current makeup of the house caucus we'll end up with some boring nebbish with adequate hair and much less ability to whip

Pelosi is the establisment personified and legislators are waaay more important than the chair. if the center wants to shoot themselves in the foot then fine by me, let's hope a progressive can snatch the seat

They can't, and probably shouldn't just now. They can't snatch the DNC chair either but it's a lot more embarrassing for the story to be about him.

What has Pelosi done that gets everybody upset again? To me she comes off as what Clinton claimed to be, someone who would love to be more progressive but is pragmatic about it.

The whip should focus on whipping, the chair should focus on not pissing off the Democratic base every 2 weeks

Pelosi is chronically overcautious and, while not actively irredeemable, just behind the times in a lot of ways on account of being old. shes no Feinstein, and i tend to credit her with having the awareness necessary to be pushed on issues, but shes just got a lot of baggage and is slow on the uptake

in conclusion Nancy Pelosi can be compared and contrasted

Declaring abortion to be a negotiable position and declaring that single payer will never be a dem platform is the big thing. also the """"pragmatic""""" excuse don't work when your party loses 1000 seats over the course of 10 years. She's a tepid centrists whos beholden to the same corporate powers that are telling the DCCC not to invest in left candidates and ive seen no evidence that what she does can't be done by anyone else

is her fighting against singlepayer in her state while claiming she's for trying it on a state by state basis an example of having the awareness necessary to be pushed on the issues, or just two-faced conniving like hillary clinton?

My Experience Taking My Daughter To A Hillary Event

By David Yankovich

There are momentous days that are forever remembered by all Americans. These days go into the history books as moments that changed an entire generation and the course of history. June 6th 1944, December 7th 1941, July 4th 1776, September 11th 2001.

October 24th 1996 is not a day historically that most people remember. Nor should it be, it was just another day towards the end of a presidential campaign year; the setting of which was a half-dead rubber city in Ohio.

In my own life, however, this is perhaps one of the most important moments that I have ever lived. You see, this is the day that at ten years old I met First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton in Akron and began my lifelong love of politics and history.

Guillotine, immediately.

Ossoff also received criticism for not attacking the policies of President Trump more, and not mentioning the highly controversial American Health Care Act (AHCA) in his campaign ads. Yet, Ossoff came out against the AHCA on his website and sparred with Handel over the bill during debates.

it's definitely the latter

the democratic party apparatus definitively does not want candidates that support single payer to win democratic primaries
