 STEAM SUMMER GIFT TRAIN 2017 How do I participate? Just join the list and then gift to the person above you! Everyone gives a gift, everyone gets a gift! It's that simple! Newcomers are always welcome to join up  Basically, if the list when you join looks like this > Nettle Soup [ UK ] Sklurb [ Soviet Russia ] That means I would get a gift from Xander, who would get a gift from Sklurb, and so on. Xander is crossed off, because he's been a good boy and has both gotten and received a gift. You, hopping onto the end, would gift to Sklurb. There is normally an updated list on the last page of the thread, depending on if I'm asleep or not. Now, there's some complicated things that Steam have done since the last sale, so we have a couple more rules this year. What they've implemented is: You can no longer gift to a region with a price differential of more than 10%, and you can no longer save games to your inventory. Therefore, when you post your steam ID URL in thread (In a clear, clickable link) you must also post your country. and preferably, if you can, make sure you can get a gift from/gift to the person above you in the list. If you're not sure, just ask! This is gonna be more complicated than previous sales, so if you have any issues, either post or message me on Steam: Nettle_Soup - I do have forum PMs but I don't tend to see them in time.   You must spend at least a $5 / £4 / €4.50 minimum If you run off without gifting, or gift below that amount, you will be permanently blacklisted. Try and hang about for a while after you've posted, this thread can move pretty quick. Post your country along with your Steam ID. Please either update your ID post, or post a new post when you've given/revived a gift. Keep your wishlists up to date, this is doubly important this year. Communicate with the other person you're gifting to/from, make sure they want what you're giving them! If you have to go to other places to get gifts, as Steam won't let you do it, make sure they know this before you commit. Please try not to buy from shady crack sites, and the Steam value is what counts for price. I don't care if it was $200 on humble, if it's $3 on Steam, it's worth $3 towards your $5 total. I'm so distracted I missed the Soups by TWO POSTS! So angry! Here's my steamy ID  [USA]Fake edit: Wanted to secure my spot before posting about this: There are websites to find out the Steam prices by country/currency, to help pinpoint if you can or cannot gift. Steam regional price checker is the best of the two I've seen as it includes the current sale. It's a little clunky to use via webpage because you need to copy and paste the store page URL. Sill, it'll spit out the current price in US Dollars, Australian Dollars, British Pound, 2 (What's the diff?) Euro, and the Russian Ruble. A quick goog for this to that and a calculator will tel you if the price diff is acceptable. Steam prices is better because it includes the % breakdown right in the search, but it doesn't have the sale prices up yet. Also the search is by title, which makes thing a lot easier.
