 I was on holiday in London, coming out of a really busy train station. It was in the touristy district with all the musical theatres. A guy standing by the wall said (loudly and clearly but to no-one in particular) "Anybody looking for a full-time job?"

I've always wanted to know what kind of job I could have gotten if I said yes...
