Okada Bryan had one of my favorite matches last year with THE BEAR but as good as he was and still is, Okada is somehow having possibly the greatest run ever. I really like Owens too but his stock has since comparatively dropped, especially as Bryans gets better through nostalgia and Okada is resetting the benchmarks.

OK Folks. With the 2017 Tournament over, the WH-128 Favorite Wrestler tournament will not appear again until 2019. Thanks everyone who participated. Maybe I should just post another thread for this, but I figured now we can talk about fun stuff we can do in the future! But first: the state of the actual tournament itself. I like to give the winner of the last tournament a straight bye into the next tournament. Then that guy faces the new tournament winner. In the 2015 Tournament - 2013 Winner Daniel Bryan tied with 2015 Winner Kevin Owens. Thus making the final of this 2017 tournament a Triple Threat. But now Daniel Bryan won this one. This is supposed to be a tournament of guys who are...not retired. This puts me in this weird position where I don't really know what to do in 2019 Favorite Wrestler Tournament. Does Okada have to start from Round 1 in 2019 instead of getting a straight bye to the big final? Even though he won the 128 this year? Bryan wouldn't have been allowed in this tournament if not for that tie with Owens in 2015! poo poo! What do I do? Anyway, please help me figure out what I should do!!!!!!!!!! AND FOR THE FUTURE: Some people expressed interest in a different type of tournament happening in between the favorite wrestler one. What kind would you like to see? Tag Teams seem kinda rough. But if interest is there, I guess I could do it. I don't know if I could fill out 128 that we actually care about though. Maybe one on matches? On a certain decade? I dunno.

I'm ok with D-Bry in the next ultra final if he's wrestled at least one match in the the 365 days leading up to it. If he has, then it's him and Okada vs 2019's winner. If he hasn't, then it's just Okada vs 2019's winner. e: I just saw the date when Benoit won and compared it to the date when all the poo poo went down and lol that must have been quite a month for y'all.

I wish Okada had won, but it's hard to be angry at the idea of Daniel Bryan as the winner because Daniel Bryan owns.Go RV! posted:If DB is wrestling in 2019: Do nothing I think this is the best solution. If he is still retired (please still be retired, Daniel :ohdear) then Okada can be the alternate Ultimate Final, and if he is actively wrestling again in that period then just leave him in. Also agree with the "most hated" tournament idea.
