The twist ending is that Senkuu will focus on science while Tsuka somehow comes around to focusing on building strong and robust institutions resulting in his overall victory in the ensuing war.

I wasn't really feeling this for the first couple of chapters, but after it gets going it's pretty good.

Tech trees have shown up. This is really just Civ: The Manga and I love it.

Also love that Senku is slowly just turning into Hiruma from Eyeshield 21, only caring about science instead of football.

You are correct but I'm assuming the fan translators read "sulfah" or something like that and assumed it should be sulphur.

That was a really fun chapter and I enjoyed Chrome getting a little something over Senku. The manga is really able to grip my interest even without conflict or typical manga storylines, just with some people being excited about discoveries.

This manga will end with Senku successfully restoring humanity, then tearfully confessing that he still has no idea what the words "per cent" actually mean. I'm 10 billion per cent sure.

Jin in the manga Jin also makes Penicillin. In that comic he ended up needing a whole team of people producing the Penicillin full time because it apparently doesn't last long and is difficult to make potent.

I won this avatar on a technicality this thick.
I was reading the chapter again and the moment where Senku contemplates how much has changed since the North Star shifted made me wonder, wouldn't the poles have shifted over time too?

I wonder what they'll do with the Ooki group, will we cut to them at some point, or will we legitimately follow Senkuu until they meet up again.

I hope the latter, because Senkuu is by far the most interesting of the two.

I wasn't sure how much I was going to enjoy the manga at the start because I thought it would be another manga with an idiot strong protagonist, but then Senkuu turned out to be the main character and it got good.

Smart, competent, and makes funny reactions: What else could be better for a main character?

You know, 20 chapters in you'd think I'd find Senku's "LET'S SCIENCE SO HARD" routine old, but I really don't. If anything it's getting more endearing than ever now that he has a science buddy to teach things to.

It's good because it subverts your expectations. You think "Oh, grains. He's gonna make some basic bread." And Senku is like THIS IS TO GO FURTHER BEYOND.
