i know a lot gets said about stardew valley but id also like to acknowledge that super mario world has also not been released for the nintendo switch maybe add this to the op?

I've watched videos of the first one and it feels like an inordinate amount of time per match is spent just spamming paint onto the walls. I'm wanting to like the game and hoping it will just kind of click for me when I play it, but does it really have a lot of longevity as a multiplayer game where you can get really good at it or doing ranked mode etc? its a shooter that lets you feel like youre doing well even if youre bad at shooters

im not sure it was ever confirmed that new units had any sort of hardware fix in the same way that the ones people sent in got but maybe there was a more subtle change to the manufacturing process that fixes it?

yeah it seems like they fixed it relatively quickly. i got mine at the end of march and i can force the issue if i try really hard to smother and block the controller but its never been a problem in normal use

i feel like splatoon is kinda a known quantity at this point. for better or worse the new one is just a rehash of the first game without any significant refinement or changes mario rabbids by comparison is a novel idea that actually took me by surprise and got me excited for something new on nintendo no contest imo
