I've really struggled to get into Zelda playing it home but i have spent the past 5 hours in a small holiday cottage in north Yorkshire plodding through it and I'm here to say its a fine videogame.

The hype for dead cells died down kinda fast for a £22 indie game, hoping to pick it up in a sale though

As a dude in my late 30s who has played video games his entire life but never got into "gaming culture" this whole Bowsette thing has me completely perlexed.

Why are people losing their poo poo over it? Are they actually jerking off to it or is it some stupid meta joke? Also, how wasn't it already a thing? From what I've seen there's weird fan made porn of everything. How could a female Bowser not already exist?

SERIOUS ANSWERS FOR A SERIOUS QUESTION

Its a bit weird innit.

If it weren’t for this thread I wouldn’t even know Bowsette was A Thing.

If it wasn't for the internet i legitimately would never have heard of trans people, incels, pick up artists, demisexuals or any number of labels people use these days. I'm not even sure I've met a gay person in real life.

British people not needing to express labels for themselves at every opportunity probably

I guess towns of 3000 in northern England don’t have newspapers, TV or any other connection to the rest of the society.

You'll struggle to see mention of pansexuals on loose women or this morning. Not that id know

Do people just intentionally misread things other people post? Is it a way that they can feel good about themselves and like they owned the other guy?

If there's one thing that stands out about SA compared to any other forum I've used its how utterly smarmy people can be here, usually unprovoked. I hoped having a paywall would filter the assholes but it just seems to have encourage it.

Literally every post i see you make is just trying to stir an argument. Its not a label. Its a description. gently caress off.
