Thanks to the simplistic solutions, there's not even that many moving pieces right now: If I recall right from one of the videos, really loud noises (like records being played) stop Lafcadio from being able to utilize Trinity's power. If there is a way to save everyone it might involve setting up a record to play within earshot of Trinity. That way Trinity never hears the passcode to the door so she can't get trapped inside the same room as the giant spider. Instead, Trinity heads back to where Clay is and she manages to convince him to stop drinking before he gets to the spiked shot of liquor. I think that requires less legwork on Lafcadio's part too, leaving him more time for the other guests.
