i'm not a big fan of any of the licorice tasting liquors like ouzo. give me some good vodka, personally. don't really drink very often these days so a couple of shots will have me feeling warm.

yeah if you like a sweet wine, it seems like a perfect one. now that i know you like ports and sherries, it makes perfect sense. after a certain point of sweetness, sweet things start to taste dirty to me. i can't drink sweet tea made here in the south. i had a diabetic friend as a young adult. he had sugar pills, and to most people they were similar in taste to a sugar cube with slight pill flavor. for me they tasted like crushed up aspirin.
