So I got to see this for a 2nd time in 70mm in LA and, uh, wow. If this movie doesn't absolutely sweep every category even tangentially related to sound at every awards show in existence then the fix was in. The two people I went with went to the bathroom about 30 seconds in and got wads of toilet paper and put in their ears because it was "way too loud." The guy sitting next to me put his fingers in his ears at the beginning and left the theater and didn't return about 15 minutes into the movie. What the gently caress guys. This is why you go.
